Bill James Construction (WAJ - William A. James, Jr.) has been in business since 2004 and has grown primarily by word of mouth.  Thanks to a loyal customer base and strong work ethics, Bill has been able to expand and now provides professional services throughout the Southwest.

Bill James developed work ethic and integrity from family and expanded his skill set from other talented, old time tradesmen.  Within a few years, Bill began splitting time between Vermont and New Mexico, carrying a full schedule of projects and satisfied clients in both locales.

In 2014, to keep up with the growing demand in Alamogordo, Bill established business full time in New Mexico, having acquired all necessary licensure and insurances.  This has allowed WAJ to undertake larger jobs in compliance with the Construction Industries Division (CID), unique to New Mexico.

Initially, Bill focused primarily on buying and renovating single family homes in Alamogordo.  True to his roots, Bill always put quality and safety above the bottom line. Accordingly, Bill has had positive relationships with buyers and agents.

In recent years Bill has mostly phased out of real estate investment, pursuing instead larger and more complex construction projects, supported by the company's supply of specialized tools and equipment.  Having the capability to provide excavation services in house has allowed Bill to offer more comprehensive services to customers at more competitive prices.
